Wiredset is looking to add a top-notch online marketing communications account manager to our fast growing digital agency based in New York. Our clients include leading entertainment and media companies with a focus on music, TV networks, film, publishing and web services.
You will work closely with our marketing and technology teams to oversee all aspects of assigned marketing projects. This will require you to have excellent communications skills (verbal / written), interpersonal skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding client services environment. Excellent internet / social media skills critical for success in the position.
Your level of experience should be mid-level (2-6 years). Candidates with a proven track record and existing relationships and contacts in the online space will be strongly considered.
This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing, and is a great opportunity join an agency experiencing rapid growth. Job Description (i.e. some duties, responsibilities):
• Work with major websites, blogs and social networks to obtain prominent placement and features for clients
• Utilize writing skills to develop compelling pitch letters and client reports
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for television networks, major recording artists, and other entertainment and web companies
• Leverage publicity initiatives for all of our clients
• Work closely with Wiredset’s marketing team to execute client goals
Skills/Experience Required:
• Agency, Online Marketing, TV, web companies, film or music industry experience preferred
• Existing contacts in the online world (please be specific with these in your cover sheet)
• Education: B.A. / B.S.
• 2 - 6 years new media, marketing, online experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter who combines a high level of creativity with strong organization skills
• Must have great phone skills
• Knowledge of current TV, music, and all entertainment is a must
• Self motivated, effective problem solver
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
• Strong knowledge of the Internet including lifestyle and music websites, blogs, and social networks (both major and up and coming) is necessary
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks, and complete tasks quickly and effectively
